Centennial Alumni Band

TSU Aristocrat of Bands – Alumni Band

In the fall of 1946, after six weeks of practice, a 100-piece marching band took to the field at Tennessee State University and a tradition of excellence was born.In the fall of 2004, after just a few rehearsals, TSU’s first Alumni Band took to John A. Merritt Blvd in the Homecoming Parade and the tradition of excellence lives on!!  For TSU’s 100th Birthday in 2012, the Centennial Alumni Band consisted of 300+ instruments and auxiliary – our largest group to date!
